Pigmented prints last a very long time. Wilhelm Imaging Research predicts 500+ years before significant fading. Ultrastable™ produces such a pigmented, full color print.

We cannot do color reproductions using our process. But our tributes will last thousands of years outside and indefinitely under any lighting conditions inside. Pigmented prints are definitely not suitable for display on monuments, and they are very expensive. Furthermore these prints can be burned or cut up rather easily.

So this option is competitive if you and you family want to be remembered in full color for 500+ years - if the medium survives – inside.
